Variable Area Gone in Debugger WIndow

I feel somewhat stupid for even having to ask this question, but then then again how does the UI allow this to happen...

After resizing my debugger window to make it smaller I discovered that the pane near the top that displays variables had disappeared. My entire debugger window is now filled with the toolbar and the source code display area. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to get the variable pane back. I've moved the cursor slowly over everything looking for a pane splitter cursor but there doesn't seem to be one!

There must be something obvious that I'm overlooking, but I'm currently unable to view the value of variables without going to the gdb command line. Can somebody help me out please???

Thanks,
Nick
