Hi everybody,
Does anybody know how is possible to workaround this:
I was using an example project (BasicDataBrowser) to test some features of xcode 2.2.1.
After to have executed the clean command (I don't remember which one) I haven't be able to compile anymore; the starnge error reported is:
error: /Developer/Examples/Carbon/BasicDataBrowser/build/BasicDataBrowser.build/Debug/BasicDataBrowser.build/BasicDataBrowser.hmap: not a directory
Since that moment any project doesn't compile anymore in xcode.
I tried:
to clean manually all the folders created by xcode
to delete the preference file of xcode
to install the latest release of xcode (2.3)
Does anybody know how to circumvent this other than to create by hand the missing directory (not very elegant and practical solution that creates other, perhaps, minor issues).
Thanks in advance.
Luca Severini
P.S.
Perhaps would be better if Apple concentrates on the reliability of xcode more than on the its feature set... ;-)
