10.4u SDK bad?

  • Subject: 10.4u SDK bad?

Dear Xcode users,

I've just experienced a very odd problem. I'm building a bundle and have noticed that my app kept crashing after bundle unloading, during CFRelease(bundle). More precisely, within CFRelease at the last CFRelease that tried to free localized strings associated with the bundle.

First, I thought that there's a memory corruption so stripped down the bundle to do almost nothing. - did not help at all -

Next, I looked at all static destructors and discovered that there's also no problem. - no dice again -

The last thing I did was that I changed the SDK root (Cross-Develop Using Target SDK) to the "Current Mac OS" and voila, that was it!

I'm really not sure what may be the problem but is 10.4u SDK somehow corrupt? Has anyone had the same problem? Is this a known issue?

Cheers,

  Tomas
