mpi programme broken with new gcc 4.0.1?

  • Subject: mpi programme broken with new gcc 4.0.1?

Dear list members,
I just installed the Xcode 2.3 and the new gcc somehow breaks my MPI programmes. Compilation is just fine as before. But when I execute multiple instances via mpirun, the programme behaves erratically. I don't know what exactly is going on here. Please note that Xcode is not involved. I get the same errors when used from bash (i.e. make and mpirun). Everything is good with the old binaries. When I do a
make clean; make
with the new gcc, the mess begins.
Please share any suggestions about the cause and a possible cure (-; you might have.

Many TIA,
-- Jan
