Can't strip a prefpane

I cannot seem to strip a preference pane of its symbols. No matter how many times I attempt to strip it, the symbols are still listed as exported in when using nm.

Is there anyway to get rid of prefpane symbols? Oddly, I have absolutely no problem stripping symbols from a normal C/C++ bundle, just prefpanes.
