When I need to move a hunk of code, I could leave the insertion point anywhere in the first or last line, shift-arrow-up or shift-arrow-down to select the rest of the lines, command-[ or command-] to shift it to the new indentation, and that would select the entirety of the first and last lines so I could Cut. It's especially handy when you need to re-indent and move a single line, because it frees you up from having to select the entire line manually.
I'm confused. Doesn't Xcode automatically reindent one-line-or-more pastes, making the original indentation irrelevant?
