Where have you been? I've lost track of how many times someone has

this thread.

I think the point several people have tried to make is that Radar is good for specific bug reports, but not for larger issues. Hopefully Apple can accept other forms of input too? I'm just thinking what OUR users would say if we only gave them one way to complain, or send suggestions. We try to provide as many feedback channels as possible--bug report form, tech call logs, classes, bulletin board. Listening to users is a lot cheaper than hiring consultants to say the same thing.

Um... from Apple there is

- this list (email@hidden)
- a number of other technology specific mailiing lists for Carbon, Cocoa, QuickTime, etc.
- a feedback address (email@hidden)
- BugReporter (bugreporter.apple.com) where you can file bugs and enhancement requests (requires free ADC online membership)
- ADC offers Select and Premiere memberships (which offer access to pre-release seed, hardware discounts, developer DVD mailings, access to kitchens, etc)
- ADC also offers per-incident support for developer issues
- the developer.apple.com webiste (not so much a feedback channel, but a lot of good information)

Outside of Apple there are a number of developer websites (www.cocoadev.com , for example). Omnigroup has a number of developer focused mailing lists.

Trust me, there are many people at Apple that read this mailing list and the feedback address. However, it is still the case that filing bugs is the best way to get your bugs and focused requests for Xcode tracked.
