Xcode 2.4.1 is a minor update that fixes some known problems in Xcode 2.4.

Is this sporadic crash one of the known problems? (Only submitted via CrashReporter but not to /dev/CantReproduce, ermm.. bugreport...)

Um, no. This sort of problem (bugs in dependency analysis) are exactly the sort of bug that needs to come in via bugreporter with a test case that shows the crash. These sorts of problems tend to be highly dependent on the structure of the project and source files, so just sending in the crash isn't that useful.
