I don't believe the specific processor matters for distributed builds as long as it is of the same architecture. ie, you can't do distributed builds between 386 & ppc but you can amongst various chips within the same architecture... for now. You can for instance do distributed builds between G4 and G5 procs, so in your case, all the machines are 386 architecture, so it shouldn't be an issue. Keep in mind also, that OS version & Xcode versions need to match amongst all the machines as well to leverage distcc.
It would be great if the tools team could add support for cross-architecture distributed builds, as many of us already have a significant PPC investment & would like to leverage that as we move toward Intel hardware.
