Hi,
I am getting "fatal error: error closing -: Broken pipe" error.
It started happening in Xcode2.3, so I upgraded to 2.4.1 but it's
still happening.
I created a simple project using "Cocoa application" wizard without
any modification and I am getting this error.
If I build using xcodebuild command, the project is successfully
built.Also, if I log in as a different user, the project is built OK
even from Xcode.
I guessed my user has some invalid information for Xcode somewhere so
I deleted ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Xcode.plist and force XCode
to recreate it but still with no luck.,,,
I found a similar problem was posted on 13 Aug 2006 and as the post
suggests, I created a symbolic link in
/usr/libexec/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/ for ld and as. It worked
for a simple project but didn't for a project which built dynamic lib
failing to find ld.
Is there any place where I can look at? I need to change my user id or
stop using Xcode!!
