I am not charged to beta-test an OS. ADC Select Membership is always $500/yr, and if you signed up in, e.g., summer of '05, you got no OS X seed in that period.

And let me put it this way: If you have moved beyond the hobbyist stage, this is well spend money. With or without seeds.

No. Seeds are passed out to WWDC Attendees, but definitely not at the tech talk.
