I already did in *January* when the problem started after updating
to 10.4.4. It's marked as a duplicate. mine radar://4405238,
original radar://4223039, they said it's a known problem. I know
you're not the moderator - my question was to the general audience.
I know that reporting to radar is the best way to get Apple's
attention, but sometimes one needs to complain a bit because
they're sick of staring at the same bug for months on end,
especially when it's a bug that makes looking at the screen all day
long hard on the eyes.
You have a point, but as we both probably worked in the professional
software industry, you know that a posting on a mailing lists means
nothing to managers.
However, I know that even if your bug gets a "duplicate", that number
is indeed counted and gives the issue more weight. That way,
engineers can (and I assume, like in most organizations, even Apple
engineers have to) justify that they are spending their time with a
"cosmetic display issue".
