problems with xcode on intel mac pro

Hello,

I have moved my development system to a new Mac Pro
and now I am having a *lot* of problems. Currently, I can
build my application as a ppc binary and the resulting build
will run. However, the debugger reports
"Architecture of file not recognized."

How can I debug my app now.

Also, I have the old targets. These are set to
ppc in the build settings (Architectures = ppc),
yet the build is always i386. Since I use ppc
libraries, these builds do not even link.

Why is the architecture setting ignored?
I have tried quitting XCode, rebooting etc.
To no avail!

HELP!

Thanks

John Elemans
