I second Ruslan's suggestion. Iceberg has some excellent advantages
over PackageMaker.
For example, the source files and folders and
permissions for a given installer package can be different than the
destinations. Contrast that to PackageMaker which requires that you
construct a parallel directory structure with exact permissions.
We currently automate our build process, including the creation of
installer packages via Iceberg's "freeze" command.
