It's a stricter interpretation of the standard, but important if you
want code portability. Some parsers aren't very well written and will
expect a newline at the end of every line, and so they only check for
EOF after reading a newline. Most parsers are smarter than that, but
the standard allows for the lazier variety as well.
And you probably shouldn't have cross-posted to the obj-c list, since
this is a compiler warning.
