Follow-up:
Crap. Autocompletion with custom symbols works on other computers in
the office, but not under a fresh user account on my MacBook Pro. (As
far as this project is concerned.)
At a loss on this one. Ideas, anyone? Mac OS X 10.4.9, Xcode 2.4.1.

Yup yup. Cleaned and rebuilt (several times by now). Everything is
linked correctly and headers are added where appropriate.
The symbols that don't appear are ones I've written in my sources.
They're in the headers, no problems during compile or run . . .
it's just that autocomplete doesn't see symbols outside of the
source file in which I'm attempting to autocomplete something.
I'll try it on a different machine and new user account and see
what happens. I don't have this problem with other Xcode projects,
just this one.

Everything I want to autocomplete is declared in the appropriate
header files. /No public symbols/ are being autocompleted in the
project.
The first thing to try is to rebuild the project index (Project >
Edit Project Settings, General tab, click the button).
Then make sure that you have added the frameworks your project
uses to the project, and that your Framework Search Paths are
correct.
