Porting a Win static lib (.lib) to OS X

Hello,

I want to port my windows lib to OS X. The library consists of straight C++ code, no Windows specific stuff. Could somebody guide me how to set up the project in XCode? I am a bid confused with Carbon/Cocoa and not even sure what to select in the project wizard/selector. I have searched on the net for such information, but have not had any luck.

Thanks in advance,
Aristotel
