I have configured Xcode to use Vim (Mac OS X version) as the external editor. However, when I double click on files they are opened in the same Vim window (like the "Grouped" behavior under Xcodes native editor). How do I make Xcode open the files in separate Vim windows?

(Not off topic: External Editors are a supported Xcode feature)

Try using the "Open using Separate Editor" command.
