I have a flat source folder (contents: set of .h and .m files) that
are dynamically generated outside of Xcode (ala mogenerator).
Manually keeping the source tree in sync with Xcode is tedious and
error-prone. I want to point my Xcode project at the source folder and
say "here, any file in this folder should be considered part of the
project". That way files can come and go and be renamed sans any
additional project babysitting on my part.
Is there a way to do this? I tried adding a folder reference directly
to the "Compile Sources" build phase, but it complains with "warning:
no rule to process file '$(PROJECT_DIR)/whatever' of type folder for
architecture i386" which seems to indicate the build system is trying
to compile the folder itself instead of its contents.
My current work-around is to generate a include.m file which #includes
all the other generated source files. This is non-optimal for a number
of reasons including dirtiness tracking and tendency towards "multiple
definitions of symbol" link-time errors.
