XCode and dot in the binary name

Hi,

Since some time, we use XCode to debug the Aqua version of OpenOffice.org.

FYI, we don't use XCode yet to build OpenOffice.org, only for debug.
The method being used is described : http://wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/MacOSX_Debug_OpenOffice.org_using_XCode

Our problem : we use a dot in the binary name "soffice.bin" here, and XCode does simply not work :-)

afaik this issue has not yet been reported (at least I found nothing relevant in the archives of the list)

Waiting, we immediately workarounded, renaming soffice.bin in soffice_bin whatever else, and doing the same in the Info.plist located in the bundle (executable name).

Is it a real XCode bug, or are we simply doing things wrongly ?

Thanks in advance for any help :-)
