I'm trying to debug a peice of C++ code that is included inside a .cpp file.
the included file has extension.inl. Nothing is actually inlined in it
though. I have two issues with that: I cannot set any breakpoints in that
file and I cannot trace through any functions in that file. Actually, it
looks like I'm tracing. I mean, the file open and it seems to be steping
through it but I cannot see any current instruction markers. The only way I
found of debugging that file yet is to copy the code and paste it at the
place where it is included. I tried renaming the .inl file to .cpp but this
did not work either.
Is there any advises on debugging included files?
