I wouldn't suggest building your UI and application logic in
AppleScript studio and then integrating the rest of the heavy drawing
lifting. Two reasons:
1. AppleScript Studio is pretty disgusting for anything complex.
2. Mixing AppleScript Studio with Carbon and Cocoa to create a
complicated application is a huge pain in the neck, if not sometimes
impossible.

Aha, now we're getting somewhere.
Practically speaking, no. Not without writing drawing code in Cocoa
or Carbon. You might be able to build all of the UI and application
logic in AppleScript Studio except for a few bits and pieces, though.

Kyle,
Just reread your email. I don't think I was clear.
What I am needing to know is if AppleScript Studio is robust enough
for me to create a diagraming software from scratch.
