I believe I have filed this or a similar issue (with Xcode 2) as ID #
4505141, which is still set to "open"

I've upgraded to Xcode 3.0, and property lists still don't get
updated when I build my app. I tried adding a script phase that
deleted Info.plist from the application bundle, but it just got
replaced with a stale copy. (It should have generated one with the
current version number, which comes from a preprocessor macro.)
It looks like the problem is that Preprocessed-Info.plist isn't
being rebuilt. This is off buried away in a build folder -- is there
a good way to get to this directory? (I'm planning on deleting it
every time I do a release build, so that the application version
number is correct.)
