C++ tool?

  • Thread-topic: C++ tool?

If I create a new C++ Tool project from scratch and Build and Go, the
template does not compile.

I get an error

powerpc-apple-darwin8-gcc-4.0.1: /usr/lib/libstdc++.a: No such file or
directory

The default is to build against Current Mac OS but, even if I change this to
10.4 (Universal), I still get this error.

I have a similar project that links against the Carbon framework and I get
no such error there. However, I do not need Carbon for this tool.

Shouldn't the stationery compile? What am I missing?
