App built on Leopard won't run on 10.2.8

Everything worked until I got Xcode 3.0.

SDKROOT_ppc is 10.3.9, DEPLOYMENT_TARGET_ppc is 10.2. I'm not using 10.3 features.

The application launches, except that since it's threaded, I call MPLibraryIsLoaded(). This now returns false (previously it always returned true like you'd expect under Max OS X).

There's no output in the console.

My first thought was that the frameworks have moved around, and it turned out that CoreServices.framework didn't have the little check in Xcode. I added that, and it made no difference.

Is there really no way to build 10.2 apps with Xcode 3.0?
