I never see that problem. Yes, with an open string constant the remainder of the file is colored using string color, but as soon as I close the string constant, syntax coloring is immediately and automatically restored.

If you can reproduce this problem in a small sample project, using a specific set of steps, I think that you should file a bug report to Apple.
