linking issue when attempting to create a universal binary

  • Subject: linking issue when attempting to create a universal binary

Hi,

I'm trying to create a universal binary and am running into a linking
issue. I'm running version 2.5. I can't seem to find out what Xcode is
complaining about. I'm getting errors such as the following:

/Developer/usr/bin/../libexec/gcc/powerpc-apple-darwin8/4.0.1/ld:
Undefined symbols:
_OSAtomicAdd32 referenced from CarbonCore expected to be defined in libSystem
_OSAtomicAdd32Barrier referenced from CarbonCore expected to be
defined in libSystem
_OSAtomicCompareAndSwap32Barrier referenced from CarbonCore expected
to be defined in libSystem

...

collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

Any suggested solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Mike
