When this happened to me, I created a new nib file (in Xcode 2.4.1 in
Tiger), copied all the objects from the nib file into the new one, and
then replaced the old one with the new one.

Supposedly there's a "Xcode version compatibility" setting in
Leopard's IB which is incorrectly set to 2.5, and manually resetting
this to 2.4 before closing the file in Leopard will work around this
problem as well. I never tried this; I just stayed away from IB 3.0
for this project.
