Internal error on conversion

I just converted a project from XCode 2.0 to 2.3 (newly installed).  During conversion, and again every time I try to debug or run, I get this "Internal error" box:

Method: subpathForWrapperPart:ofPath:withExtraFileProperties:
path should be a non-empty string, but it's an empty string

After giving the Run command, I say "continue" to this message three times, and then it tells me, "No launchable executable present at path."

Okay, so how do I massage this project to get it past this particular bug and into a runnable state?
