How to set space for ClockDate control.

Hi All!
I am using Interface Builder to build the GUI. I must set space for ClockDate control but I can't. How can I do this?
Please give me some idea. Thank!

(ClockDate control display normat is:                              "mm/dd/yyyy" ;   ex:  "1/24/2007"
but I want set value for ClockDate control display  is:                                       "                  " or "  /  /    " )
