Xcode debugger not stopping on breakpoints

Hello all,
something strange is happening in my Cocoa project : when I launch it in
debugging
mode, the debugger doesn't stop at any breakpoint at all, even those I
*know* that my
program goes through. Things I checked :
-The target executable is in "Debug" configuration.
-The breakpoints are enabled (the arrow on the left pane of the file is dark)
Any suggestions ?
