meta/command keybindings?

Hi,

I'm trying to make the keybindings more like emacs, so I go into Preferences -> Keybindings -> Text Keybindings, and set "Move Subword Forward" to Command-F, and "Move Subword Backward" to Command-B. Doing this erased the old bindings to "Find" and "Build". But now in the editor, if I hit those keys, all it does is beep at me, as it does for unbound key combinations. What am I missing?
