Well, there is a poor man's version.

In Xcode Preferences, there are two commands:

Set Mark
Swap With Mark

If you set the "mark" prior to doing a find, etc, you can then return with the Swap With Mark. I think the last command toggles.

I talked with someone at WWDC about this two years ago, as the core capability is (as I recall) defined in NSResponder (both commands). These were related to some emacs bindings, and a related one was a stack of marks that was for some reason not brought over.
