I'm new to Xcode, so I hope this question is a pretty easy one.

I've created the stub for a new Cocoa ap, but if I select main.c and

click the Editor icon I get a big "No Editor" message.

How can I troubleshoot this?

Just click main.c again.  In clicking somewhere else you lost the focus of the selection; "No Editor" in that case simply means "nothing's really selected right now."
