I had a similar problem in Java. I never found an answer, but found
if I included the jar directly into the project it found all the
symbols. Perhaps you can do something similar.

I am trying to figure out how to build/rebuild the index that
XCode uses the foundation code sense. I just set up a new machine
and the code sense is working for methods that I wrote but it is
not seeing them for anything else. For example
[NSEntityDescription entity<esc> shows nothing.
Is there some index I need to rebuild?
If you select the project, at the top of the "Groups & Files" tree,
right-click and "Get Info", and then click "Rebuild Code Sense
Index," does that fix the problem? Or does that only reindex your
own code?
