Check these things:
- Do you have content in your Project Symbols smartgroup? If not, then you don't have an index; you're just using CodeSense's in-file completion, not index-based completion.
Yes - Are you using new native Xcode targets and not deprecated, legacy, JAM-based targets? The latter don't support CodeSense indexing.
I am not certain how to confirm this but code completion is working on my older PPC machine for the same project. - Are your frameworks included as members of the current target? If you're editing file foo.m which is part of target Bar which includes Baz.framework, you will only get symbols from Baz if your Current Target is set to Bar. If your Current Target is set to some target of which neither foo.m nor Baz.framework is a member, Xcode won't necessarily be able to follow the file's dependencies into the framework, because all of the search paths necessary to do that are defined in the target.
Thank you for that explanation but unfortunately that did not get me any closer to the solution. I rebuild the index, the Core Data framework is included in the target and the completion is still not working. In fact, code completion is not working on simple things like [NSString stringWith<esc>

Any other possibilities on what might be causing this? Of note, code completion works fine on my older machine with the same project.
Another point of interest, the new machine is using XCode 2.5 and the older machine is still on 2.4.1.
