Classes and Other Sources an a Cocoa project?

  • Subject: Classes and Other Sources an a Cocoa project?

When I create a Cocoa project, say prog7, with Xcode, I see two folders in the left pane. One is called Classes and the other one Other Sources. If I create, some files, for instance Fraction.h and Fraction.m, it does not matter in which of these folders I put them. If I for instance store Fraction.h and Fraction .m in the Classes folder and main.m in the Other Sources folder, and then go and look in the Finder, I see that all three files are stored in the project folder (in my case bobeuland/prog7). So what is the purpose of Classes and Other Sources? Even though their icon looks like a folder it seems that they are not real folders?

Thanks for your help
Bob
