Tiger ignores architectures built with a Mac OS X deployment Target of 10.5. So set your 32-bit architecture to 10.4 or earlier, and it will be preferred in the presence of 64-bit architectures.

So, will binaries compiled with 64-bit architectures (on Leopard, or however) still be able to run on Tiger - as long as the 32-bit versions are also compiled in? Or will we need to distribute different "Tiger" and "Leopard" binaries if we want to support 64-bit?
