I did the following to get it to work for me:
(1) Drag Project A's .xcodeproj file into Project B's "Groups and
Files" column.
(2) In Project B, double click on the target to bring up the "Target
Info" window.
(3) In the Target Info window, click the "General" tab.
(4) Click the '+' in the lower left window and then select Project
A's library in the window that pops up.
I am *not* an expert in Xcode, but it seems that you need to
explicitly tell Project B about Project A -- not just the work
product of Project A (i.e., the built library).
