Protected m4p file prevents debug

  • Subject: Protected m4p file prevents debug

All,

A customer of mine is reporting that when my app is presenting a DRM protected m4p file my app crashes.

If I try to reproduce in the release version of my app, I do not see the reported problem. I am asked to authenticate my computer via iTunes. When I try the same operation in the debug configuration, the debugger tells me my app exited with status(45).

I can fully understand why Apple would not want me to debug my app when it is attempting to authenticate to play a DRM protected file, I just wanted to know if this is the intended behavior.

Thanks

Douglas
