Is there a way to have Xcode set appropriate permissions on the resources of an app when it copies them to the app bundle?

Are the settings you see when you type "permission" into the Project or Target Info/Build pane helpful? (It's possible they are not; I've never applied them as you suggest.)

I believe you have to select "Deployment Postprocessing" for this to work on other than an "xcodebuild install" build. I wouldn't recommend postprocessing on a Debug configuration.
