create new xcodeproj

Sorry to bother everyone with such a simple question but searching to
archive appears to be broken right now.
I am still trying to get the debugger to stop in a breakpoint.
Thinking it was me (or some default preference), I tried creating a
simple "hello world" program with the "new command line tool"
option. Breakpoints worked fine on the this little test program, so
I would like to try creating a new xcodeproject from .cpp and .h
files from my working trunk. This is essentially a, "how to import a
unix program into xcode question".
hummingfish:~/modeling/pnet_dev/pnet/trunk2/c++/src kwythers$ ls -l
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 1214 Aug 26 2005 Makefile*
drwxr-xr-x 5 kwythers staff 170 Apr 17 15:12 build/
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 8538 Jun 18 09:01 file_io.cpp*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 1489 Jun 18 09:02 file_io.h*
drwxrwxr-x 5 kwythers staff 170 Nov 22 2006 output/
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 12617 Jun 20 11:12 pnet.cpp*
drwxrwxr-x 11 kwythers staff 374 Jun 25 15:55 pnet.xcodeproj/
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 11680 Jun 18 09:10 tday.cpp*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 7808 Jun 18 08:51 tday.h*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 62237 Jun 20 09:24 tveg.cpp*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 kwythers staff 8829 Jun 17 23:46 tveg.h*
It seems like you should be able to create a new xcode proj then add
the relative files to it. In the case above pnet.cpp is main.
Thanks
