How to successfully upgrade the Epicware screensaver projects

I'm using xCode 2.4, and when I try to open the old Epicware screen saver code, it prompts me to upgrade them, and then promptly gives me two errors and quite (unexpectedly - a bug report has been sent to apple). Is there a way to upgrade the files other than just rebuilding new projects from scratch?
