Key Macro "Comment Selection" Has Changed??

  • Thread-topic: Key Macro "Comment Selection" Has Changed??

I'm using Xcode 2.3. For the past year, when I type cmd-/ (command slash),
I get C++ style comments

// C++ style Comments like this.

But a week ago, it started giving me C style comments instead

/* like this */

I do not remember doing anything that may have changed this, although I did
install the latest Documentation Update about a week ago. In preferences, I
see that the Key Binding cmd-/ is bound to
    Edit
        Insert Text Macro
            C
                Comment Selection

There is also a "C++" submenu but that does not contain a "Comment
Selection" item.

Does anyone know what I might have done to change this, or even better, how
can I change it back? (I know I can write a perl script and use it as a
plug-in, but that's not going to be any fun.)

Thanks,

Jerry Krinock
