I am trying to build a 64-bit application on a Core 2 Duo Mac Mini. This application builds and runs fine using ARCH=i386. I can build it with the x86_64 flag, but when I try to run it, I get a "Bad CPU type in executable" message. Is there something I need to do to get this to run? I am using 10.4.8.

The most advanced Mac mini we've shipped has a Core Duo, not a Core 2 Duo. In other words, your Mac mini doesn't support 64-bit applications.

Hope this helps,
Eric
