Yesterday I was able to debug my QuickTime encoder under QuickTime
Player Pro on a MacBook Pro in native Intel mode, but today the
debugger only honors breakpoints in the 'Open()', 'Close()', and
'GetInfo()' selectors, not in the 'PreCompress()' and 'BandCompress
()' methods where I need the breakpoints. In fact, it doesn't break
at all unless I bring up the 'Movie Settings' dialog.
I've set multiple breakpoints, and verified that they're no longer
"pending" once the component is loaded, cleaned and rebuilt the
component, verified that it's actually being invoked. The target is
set to generate default debug symbols, with all optimization turned
off, and no stripping.
Any ideas?
