You might check the file encoding - see if it's the same as other files in the project.


I found that it was UTF-8, while the header was Mac OS Roman. I changed the source to Mac OS Roman. Same problem.
I changed both to "text editing default" (no explicit encoding). Same problem.


This same thing happened a few weeks ago when I first started working on this project. I thought it was just my inexperience with Xcode, so I made a new project—with the *same* source file—and everything worked fine again. Unfortunately, I didn't have that experience in mind when I went to rename the file today!

BTW, while I was checking out the encoding, I saw that the filetype is "sourcecode.c.c". Is that correct?
