GDB jumping to unrelated library during trace.

  • Subject: GDB jumping to unrelated library during trace.

We have a project which imports a number of libraries. When we attempt to trace into one of those libraries instead of it tracing into the expected library it is jumping into a totally different library. This is totally repeatable as to where it is jumping to.

We are using Xcode 2.4.1 and system 10.4.9. Our libraries are a mixture of C & C++, the libraries are built from a central build machine and imported to my build enviornment.

In the past I have seen it off by a few lines, but this is off by an entire library. Any hints would be apreciated.

Thanks,

- George Lawrence Storm, DivX Inc.
