I've checked the release notes that Chris sent, the doc that came with Xcode 3.0, and the mail I've accumulated on my system, and didn't see a mention of this.

'gcc_select' is not on my disk, even though I have several versions of gcc installed (at least according to "/usr/include/gcc/ darwin" :-}).

Hi Justin,

Xcode no longer ships with a gcc_select tool. To switch compilers, you'll need to double-click on the target whose compiler you want to change, go to the "Rules" tab, and select the compiler you'd like to use.
