Can I build with GCC 3.3 and xCode 3.0?

Hello,

I need to compile the PPC side of my code with GCC 3.3 as our Apps need to support Max OS X 10.2.8 and later.

Is it possible for XCode 3.0 to compile using GCC 3.3? I am getting the following errors with GCC 3.3

cc1obj: error: unrecognized command line option "-header-mapfile"
cc1obj: error: unrecognized command line option "-fconstant-cfstrings"

It builds fine with 4.0. It also worked fine with XCode 2.x and GCC 3.3

I am having a bit of trouble figuring out where the command line options are set, I cannot find them in the usual build settings.

Also what does the "MAC OS Deployment Target" flag actually do?

XCode 3.0 / MacBook / 10.5

thanks for any help

John Pattenden
